Another First......

Well, today is my first Official Day as a REAL employee at my very favoritist (not a word, but I like it) scrapbook store ever. Yep, I guess if you stalk three very busy ladies, they say what the heck.....put her to Work. HaHa. I am very excited and intend to have fun, yep fun. I figure if I am having fun, customers will too. And you know what that leads too.....spending more money.

Well, maybe I should not have so much fun, just make sure everyone else is having fun.

And....I happen to know that a lot of new product is being put on the shelves and the store is looking better than ever.

Have a great day....

PS, check this out
My very Southern CA girl lives in flip flops..............and for the last few weeks had worn them but silly weather in Idaho decided to have another snow fall. So she decided to boycott snow and wear them anyway. The kids decided if she did they would rather wear theirs too!

She is such a good Mom teaching them how to think positive thoughts and the power of them.

Poor LuLu.......

Ok, the following story just makes me smile! Thank goodness that we have children in our lives!!! How boring would life be without all of our precious kids. Chris posted this on her family blog, so I just had to repost here, because......

well, I am the Grandma and I like all stories with Brayden & Kylie in them. And being the Grandma I feel the urge to share. Man I love these kids, but I do feel the same as Chris....not crazy about the cat, LOL.

Story by Chris.......Pictures furnished by Courtney

Wait Mom! we forgot our cat said Brayden and Kylie this morning as we left our poor unsuspecting Kitty at the vets this morning to get "Fixed" - Oh yes, it had to be done - I am not the biggest fan of Cats and some how I got swindled into getting this one and a second one that has since ran away to who knows where - Probably Kitty Heaven or Road Kill heaven - You choose - & besides Jeb kept telling me that he thought the Cat was prego - which just makes me cringe to think about 10 Cats roaming around my house when I can hardly stand the one we've got - Besides I'm the only one who takes care of the darn thing ---- Any way so we left our cat at the Vet this morning And the kids were none too Happy about it -- I explained to them that the Cat Doctor was going to make sure "LuLu" was a healthy cat and that they would give her some water and food - Because the kids were worried that she would Starve while she was there --- And that she was going to maybe take a little nap and we would pick her up later...

So we just picked her up - and the Kids were very concerned - Because Lulu was whining the whole way home --- this is how the car ride went...

Kylie: Mom, that's a pooooor Cat isn't it?

Me: Heehee Yeah I guess she is.
Brayden: Did she have to get shots at the Cat Doctor?

Me: Well Kind of

Kylie: Aaaaawwww - Pooooor Luuuuluuuu ---- We are so sorry we took you to the doctor we won't ever let that happen AGAIN - I am really promising you! never ever ever again - Ok - are you listening Lulu? - Momm she is still crying - I told her we didn't have to go to the doctor again. It is ok Lulu at least there were fishies there for you to look at... Lulu? Lulu?

She did this the whole way home ---

Brayden: Mom you're not going to make Lulu sleep in the Garage are you --- That seems kinda dangerous don't ya think...

Me: No Brayden - She can sleep n the house, I said with a sigh.
Oh these kids are so funny - the things they say are hilarious sometimes

Anyway........

Love Spring......and spending time with my family!

Just a quick note......I have to say that because of all of the rain we despertly needed here, we are able to enjoy the looks (because the allergy effects are not so pleasent, lol) of a lot of green and some Beautiful wild flowers all around. I think we are even going to go to the desert soon to check out all of the blooms there soon. But, for now we took advandge of a pleasent day and hiked some (well Al & Court did 6 miles, I did 2 blocks :) at the Santa Rosa Plateau. There is lots of great sceanery and some vernal pools. I know I did not hike, but I did enjoy the scenery and a beautiful hawk, with a golden tail. I also finish reading Twilight by Stepenie Meyer. This is a great read, can not wait to get the other books of the series.

Tumbling KIDS.....

How cute is this!!! Chris told me she was taking Brayden and Kylie to gymnastics, but I thought it was just a little tumbling class. Which is nice......but look at these guys, they are balancing, jumping, fliping and tumbling. I am so glad I got Chris the flip....can't wait to see some action clips.
Better yet, I think I should plan on taking a trip to see them in person. Sure could use some Brayden & Kylie kisses and hugs. And lots of stories from them.
Man I sure do miss them!
Any way.......

Blog Update, Long Over Due ......More Changes!

Boy, a lot has happened in our family in a few short months. I feel like I have been propelled from a cannon to be speed though life right now. You think that you have everything set, and life can resume at a normal pace and tada.....fooled you.

Al & and I had to take a trip to the airport Tuesday, Feb. 26th. We left really early to check out the coast. It was so refreashing and calming for the brief time we took it in.

As you can tell the waves were a little higher than usual. The day before they were getting 10 footers, this day a little less.

The sky and weather were great!

We decided to grab some lunch at Fillipi's which is always terrific and since we still had time before the arrival of the plane, we decided to check out IKEA. Boy oh Boy, you can always find things there you just have to have.

Now you may wonder............why did we have to go to airport???????

To pick up a very precious cargo to us Our Baby Daughter!!!!

As, you can tell, she is so excited, LOL. We are way excited because she brings so much love and happiness into our home, but we know to fly back home she made a lot of emotional decisions that were really heartbreaking. She broke off her engagement and decided she was a sunshine (no more snow) kind of girl.

Like I said------A lot of major changes have already happen this year for our family. Makes you wonder......what the rest of the year will be like.

Anyway...............
