I have to say I love the rain! Probably because we do not get it that often. The best is when my house is all clean, start a fire (in the fireplace, lol) and get all snuggled down in a blanket and read a good book. It is also great if you have a yummy soup in the crock pot and baking of any kind.
So yesterday I wanted to bake, but I was too lazy to go though too many steps. I decided to try a quick easy recipe, it was pretty good. Here is the recipe....
Golden Brownies
2 cups of Graham Cracker Crumbs
1 can sweeten condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
nuts if you like
Mix all together, put in 8x8 pan. Bake at 375 for 25 -30 minutes.
How easy is that. It is pretty rich, but it was way better looking and tasting than I thought it would be. It is a keeper!

Changes.......
Georg C. Lichtenberg:
I cannot say whether things will get better if we change; what I can say is they must change if they are to get better.
I have always known that we live our life in sections (baby, childhood, teenager, young adult, married, mom and then life after your children are in their young adult and parent stage) I know they all connect and enrich each other, but in my own little dream world I never thought what life would be like once you send your children off to live their own life. I always dreamed of school, who I would marry , having a home of my own and the best dream of all of being a Mother. I know we never stop being a Mother, but it seems I have entered a point in my life that I can give a little bit more thought to who I am and where do I go from here. It sounds pretty cool, but it is a major change, and sometimes I do not handle change all that well. It is a little bit scary but kinda of exciting too.
Charles Kettering:
If you have always done it that way, it is probably wrong.
Happy New Year!
